Activity /task Α.1:« The Greek vocational school system»

Place: 2^nd EPAL of Evosmos/Theachers conference room

Description: a) a) Professional meeting with the director and teachers who are school life consultants b) Monitoring  students΄ progress through the implementation of funded programs of the European Union or the Greek state c) exchange of experience with Greek students

Issues:

1.       General introduction to the Greek vocational school system.

2.        “A New Beginning at EPAL “MNAE” ( for vocational high schools)

 

Activity /task Α.2:«Ways of informing students on important educational or social issues»

Place: Evosmos Municipal Theatre

Description: a) participation and speech in a teaching visit on the topic: Inclusion, Interculturalism and Citizen Education in French Cinema, films: "The Choir Children" and "My God, What Have We Done to You?" b) exchange of experience with Greek students

Issues:

1.      The recognition of the equality of cultures and the interaction between them

B/ 2^ndday: Wednesday 15-11-23

 

Activity/task Β.1: «Nationally examined courses for admission to Universities»

Place: Senior High School of Kallithea ,Neohorouda Thessaloniki

Description: a) Professional meeting with the director and teachers who teach these subjects and b) watching a presentation of the topic in English by students of Neochorouda c) exchange of experience with Greek students

Issues

1.       The Greek school system concerning general secondary education and the national exams

2.       Why are these exams so important for Greek families over time?

3.       What tensions are created?

 

Activity /task Β.2: «Uprising of the Polytechnic University (1973)»

Place: Cultural Centre of Neochorouda

Description: a) Participating in the involvement of teachers in the organization and b) supervision of students during an important school celebration

Issues

1.       The school way in which we honor the Resistance of the people against the Greek Dictatorship in the period 1967-1974

 

C/ 3^rd day: Thursday 16-11-23

 

Activity /task C.1:«Ways of informing students on important educational or social issues»

Place: 2nd EPAL Evosmou/ Teachers conference room

Description: a) Professional meeting with vice director and teachers who are school life consultants b) Monitoring  students΄ progress b) exchange of experience with Greek students

 

Issues:

1.       The school’s organization and management against school bullying. 

2.       The role of school life consultants

3.       "Imagine a world where every student can embrace their full potential"

 

Activity /task C.2: «The meaning of democratic education»

Place: 2nd EPAL Evosmou/School Hall

 

Description: Participating in the involvement of teachers in the organization and supervision of students during an important school celebration or watching the two French Films

Issues

1.       Follow-up on the way of organizing the National Anniversaries in Greece

Activity /task D.1: «Uprising of the Polytechnic University (1973)»

Place: 2^nd EPAL of Evosmos/School event hall

Description: a) participation and speech at the school celebration day

Issues:

1.       Ensuring everyone's right to equal opportunities in education and life
